KGU medical course program overview
The MBBS/MD program is a medical undergraduate degree program that is typically completed over a period of 5-6 years, depending on the country and university. The program is designed to train students to become medical doctors, who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to provide healthcare services to individuals, families, and communities.
The MBBS program typically comprises two phases: the pre-clinical phase and the clinical phase. The clinical phase is usually completed over the remaining 3-4 years of the program.

INTERNSHIP
The internship period is also an opportunity for medical graduates from foreign medical institutions to gain exposure to the Indian healthcare system and become familiar with the prevailing healthcare practices and protocols in the country. This enables them to understand the unique healthcare challenges in India and prepare themselves to provide high-quality medical care to patients.
National Exit Test (NEXT) Training
